My name is Ashley Qiu. I am a third-year doctoral student in Counseling Psychology. My therapy style adopts an integrative modality with a multicultural stance. ​

My research interest lies in children and adolescent development, specifically attachment styles that contribute to the future resilience protecting against mental illnesses and the predisposing trauma that prime the later-stage pathologies, with a particular attention on mental disorders in the minority and underrepresentative youth.

I have created this webpage HearkenHearten to share my insights on mental health knowledge and therapies. I also provide services via zoom/call.
